Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja
Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM) has emerged
as a promising institution in the region. With its highly motivated
and qualified faculty, excellent infrastructure and distinctive
learner-centric facilities, the institute has become the most
sought after engineering institute in the region. Adding a
feather to its cap, SMVITM, was accredited by NAAC with A-grade.
Admiring the objective of providing valued-added and holistic
engineering education to the needy students of rural belt at
affordable cost, former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam made a
prestigious visit to the college in 2014, and interacted with the
students. Many other eminent personalities too have visited the
college and appreciated its dedication towards education and
research.
A Student Symposium, held as part of an CISC & MEEMS, offers a unique platform for young scholars to showcase their research, exchange ideas, and engage with experts in their fields. Such events foster intellectual growth, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and provide networking opportunities with peers and professionals. Participants present papers, posters, and innovative projects, receiving valuable feedback to refine their work. These symposia also encourage critical thinking, public speaking skills, and exposure to global academic trends. By engaging in discussions and workshops, students gain insights into emerging challenges and advancements, enriching their academic journey and preparing them for future career endeavors.
We encourage students from diverse academic backgrounds to participate and contribute to an interdisciplinary dialogue. Whether you are presenting your latest research or showcasing a creative endeavour, your participation will enrich the conversation and broaden the impact of the symposium.

Submit an abstract of no more than 300 words by 15 Dec 2024. The abstract should clearly outline the research question, methodology, and expected outcomes of the work.
Participants will present their work in one of the following formats:

Presentation will be delivered in English language only.
Best power point presentation and poster presentation will be awarded under each theme.
